Your Owensboro Orthodontist
Meet Dr. Joe Danzer
I’m blessed to be able to practice orthodontics every day — especially when people in our community recognize the good work my team does by graciously recommending our office to their friends and relatives.
Helping our friends and neighbors improve their lives by delivering care in such a direct and individualized way continues to be exceedingly gratifying.
I feel like an artist — the patient brings the canvas and the materials, and then we begin to create. I’m passionate about bringing this shared vision of their new smile into existence.
Education & Experience
I attended Ashland Community College and was granted early admission to the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry based on my academic record after only two years.
This made me the youngest graduate in my dental school class when I earned my Doctorate of Medical Dentistry with high honors.
I then attended Vanderbilt University, where I completed a three-year residency in orthodontics.
Change is constant in the practice of orthodontics, and to stay current with all the advancements, my team and I regularly participate in continuing education.
We’re always looking for ways to improve and add to the services we provide.
By participating in continuing education courses, our practice can offer our patients a wide range of traditional and advanced treatment options.
I strive not only to meet but to exceed the standards of my profession.

Outside of the Office
My wife Tracey and I have five sons — Garrison, William, Cooper, Houston, and Henry — as well as two Scottish terriers. We’re also members of Blessed Mother Catholic Church.
When I have free time, I enjoy coaching and playing sports with my sons, boating, and teeing it up on the golf course. My greatest pleasure comes from watching my boys grow into wonderful young men.
